The materials are ready. Tomorrow is World AIDS Day. And this Sunday is Mumbai AIDS Sunday 2015!
Please have a special observance at your time of worship – or during one of your key gatherings during this week. We want to see a united sea of prayer going up to our loving Lord Jesus on behalf of people with HIV. We want to see our hearts stirred with His love into actions that please Him (James 1.27).

Mumbai AIDS Sunday and World AIDS Day offer multiple chances to get out into the community and spread the word about the needs of people living with HIV, the hope that each one can have and the great love that God has for each person.

28th Nov. Jeevan Sahara Kendra and the Glory to Glory Church are conducting and HIV counselling and testing camp at Mumbra
28th Nov. Jeevan Sahara Kendra is launching a new ART Adherence Flip-chart along with partner churches and other agencies from 3.30 – 7 PM at the JSK Centre, Old Lok Hospital in Thane
28th Nov. Jeevan Sahara Kendra is hosting an AIDS Prayer Summit from 8 – 11 PM at the JSK Centre, Old Lok Hospital in Thane
29th Nov. Salvation Army is conducting an HIV / Diabetes / Hypertension testing camp with the local church in Goregaon
1st Dec. WORLD AIDS Day Sahaara Sangathi is conducting public outreaches using skits and handing out pamphlets at the following railway stations:
- Nallasopara West,

- Vasai Sation,
- Naigaon station and
- Virar Station
1st Dec. WORLD AIDS Day – Alethea Book Store is participating with an AIDS Awareness Rally with a school in Ulhasnagar.
1st Dec. WORLD AIDS Day – Vision Rescue is conducting an awareness meeting at the Shivaji Nagar area of Govandi at 11.30 AM.
1st Dec. WORLD AIDS Day – Dayasagar Baptist Church and Agape Disciples Fellowship are running and AIDS Rally in Navi Mumbai – in which the Navi Mumbai Mayor and various schools are participating in.
1st Dec. WORLD AIDS Day – Salvation Army is conducting an HIV / Diabetes / Hypertension testing camp with the local church in Badlapur
1st Dec. WORLD AIDS Day – Jeevan Sahara Kendra and the Sahwas foundation are conducting an HIV counselling and testing camp at Gholai Nagar, Kalwa
2nd Dec. Salvation Army is conducting an HIV / Diabetes / Hypertension testing camp with the local church in Matunga
2nd Dec. Believers Church, Thane is conducting and AIDS Awareness meeting along with JSK at 3 PM.
5th Dec. Jeevan Sahara Kendra along with Living Water Ministries (Mulund) are conducting and HIV counselling and testing camp at Pratap Nagar in Bhandup
5th Dec. Manna Prayer House is holding a special AIDS awareness meeting among women from the Red Light area in Turbhe at 1.30 PM.
5th Dec. Salvation Army is conducting an HIV / Diabetes / Hypertension testing camp with the local church in Nallasopara
6th Dec. MUMBAI AIDS SUNDAY – all our CORINTH members and many other churches will be holding special prayer times / HIV focuses in their morning or evening worship times. Please contact us if you would like to have your church included and still need the materials. Pray for a mighty wave of prayer to sweep over our city and state on this day.

6th Dec. MUMBAI AIDS SUNDAY – Salvation Army is conducting a grand evening gospel concert at the Salvation Army Headquarters in Byculla beginning at 5 PM.
11th Dec. Jeevan Asha along with JSK are conducting and HIV counselling and testing camp at Sai Nagar in Thane.
13th Dec. Prabhu Yeshu Janmotsav – The CORINTH network will be running a combined stall at the PYJ at Chowpatti Beach which this year is being headlined by Hillsong United from Australia.

Time flies when you are having fun. Or not.
Either way, we are thrilled to announce the next edition of the CORINTH Mumbai AIDS Sunday is upon us!
And as before, it all depends on you!
Your churches, your prayer fellowships, your times together – focussed on the needs of people living with HIV. Asking God to intervene. Asking God to awaken His people. Asking our Lord Jesus Christ to share His love, using us as His hands and feet in the great urban sprawl of Mumbai!
Will you please take some time on Sunday the 6th of December and focus your prayers, your sermon, your sharing on God’s heart towards people living with HIV?

Has your church signed up? As of 11.11.14 we have 50 churches who have committed to holding a special AIDS focus on December 7th – and are expecting to hear back from many more. Can we see at least 250 churches across Mumbai lifting up their hands to the Lord – and opening their doors to people living with HIV?

We are excited to start the preparations for the Mumbai AIDS Sunday 2014.
We plan to hold an exciting Musical Concert called “Celebrating Hope” on Wednesday the 26th of November 2014 at the Bombay Baptist Church in Colaba. Stay tuned for details!
Plus hope and pray that many local churches across the greater Mumbai area will focus on the needs of people with HIV through the Mumbai AIDS Sunday commemoration on Sunday 7th December 2014.

Every day is World AIDS Day!
Every Dec. 1st the whole world remembers the challenges of people living with HIV/AIDS on “World AIDS Day”.
But do we really? When you hear the word “AIDS” what comes to your mind? Are you afraid? Puzzled? Appalled?
Remember one important thing – every person who has HIV has been made by God and is very precious to Him. And remember another thing – Jesus tells us to love our neighbours as ourselves. That means that we must love people with HIV.
And not only one day a year. Not just by lighting candles and wearing red ribbons. God wants our love to be like His love for us. This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters. If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person? Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth. (1 John 3.16-18)
Here in Mumbai God is using His children in the church to love people with HIV. Does our church have people with HIV? We should. We need to be telling everyone about Jesus and seeing people come to the Lord. We should be welcoming people who are sick and in need.
People with HIV do not just have needs one day of the year. Every day is World AIDS Day. People who have HIV need to be loved – by us! God loves us and we need to love each other.
How can we do this? We can start by telling the world that Jesus loves people with HIV – and that we as children of God want to love people to too! We can have our churches pray for people with HIV. We can visit people in their homes. We can pray. We can listen. We can take people to the doctor and to hospitals. We can help people get tested for HIV. We can spend time with their children – we can play with them and coach them. We can help out in many, many, many ways.
